Apparently, it was “bitten off by a snake.” I realize how weird that sounds. But both of my children SWEAR to it. Even as I type.

Thank goodness this distracting man is merely a substitute. Otherwise, I could have real problems on my hands … I mean fingers … I mean HANDS! Dammit.

Oh, and my least favorite subject? Ironically, math. But only because I struggle with anything above Algebra I. :)

I worked really hard at it because I wanted the good grade, but it was so not my thing. When it came down to it though, I earned an A in the class and was given a B. When I asked my teacher why, he told me I just wasn’t an A student in math. Kind of ruined it for me knowing it didn’t matter how hard I worked if the teacher could just decide not to honor the actual score in the class. The funny thing is every single one of my kids is good at math. And they all like it too. Go figure.
